Here’s your chance!

Join millions of other people this month for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) as they put pen to paper in the attempt to write a 50,000-word novel by 11:59 PM on November 30. 


Not sure how to start? 

The Crow River Quill and Ink Writers Society is hosting a write-in after their monthly meeting at the Hutchinson Library on Wednesday, November 6th from 6-8:30pm.  A Last Chance write-in is scheduled for Saturday, November 30th from 3-5pm in the Hutchinson Library meeting room. 

Minnesota author Jess Lourey will be in Glencoe and Hutchinson on Saturday, November 9th to lead two workshops for aspiring authors.

Both workshops are open to the public.

It’s Showtime @ Your Library 2019 Winsted Library Summer Reading Program


It’s SHOWTIME @ the Winsted Library this summer! 

Are you ready for Storytime in the Park on Fridays?
How about the Summer Reading Club for ages 5-12?
Maybe you’d like to try the
Teen/Adult Reading Program?

There’s something for all ages during this year’s Winsted Library Summer Reading Program!

In June, we’re bringing back fan-favorite Flashlight Storytime, and we can’t wait for our 7th Annual Princess Storytime!

World-Famous Comedy Magician Charley Hagen promises to amaze and entertain us in July, as he brings his comedy magic show to Winsted for two performances on Wednesday, July 10th. The morning show will be at Mill Reserve Park (the one by the lake), and the 7pm show will be at St Mary’s Care Center Chapel.

The Teen/Adult Reading program goes from May 20th-July 31st, and the Summer Reading Club starts June 9th. To sign up, please come in to the Winsted Library during library hours.
